TT-01: Worthington Steel and Worthington Enterprises Columbus Cylinders
Tuesday, May 21 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Description: Take a walking tour of Worthington Steel and Worthington Enterprises Cylinders manufacturing factories located on the Columbus Ohio Dearborn Drive Campus. Worthington Steel is a cold-rolled steel strip processing plant with precision milling, annealing, and slitting operations. Worthington Enterprises Columbus Cylinders manufactures propane and helium tanks for leading brands found on store shelves around the globe.
TT-02: American Nitrile Operations LLC - Tuesday Tour

Description: Take a walking tour of American Nitrile Operations, a state-of-the-art nitrile glove manufacturing facility. Get an up-close look at the heart of the operation, including the automated glove packaging systems, water-tight testing, high-speed glove stripping and layering, glove dipping processes, compounding department, wastewater and recycling department, and their famous nitrile storage tanks.

TT-04: The Spine Research Institute and Brinkman Lab-El Hellani Labs at Ohio State University

Description: Take a walking tour of both The Spine Research Institute and Brinkman Lab-El Hellani Labs at Ohio State University.
The Spine Research Institute (SRI) comprises a unique group of multi-disciplinary experts, whose mission is to systematically improve the way we prevent, evaluate, and treat spine and other MSDs. They accomplish this task through causal pathways research, education, and the development of platform technologies. The SRI team will show tour participants the variety of methods and equipment it uses to better understand injury causation and provide several examples of recent projects.
Researchers at the Brinkman-El Hellani Labs study how people use tobacco products to generate the evidence needed by government regulators to establish meaningful product standards that make these products less appealing to new users and support cessation or switching to reduced harm products in established users.
Brinkman Lab researchers perform tobacco product content and emissions testing, including using machine-smoking to reproduce human puffing behavior to estimate toxicant exposures. El Hellani Lab Researchers develop and employ analytical methods to quantify harmful chemicals in tobacco products and their emissions.

On this tour you will see the packaging room, extraction room, post extraction room, and kitchen production room.
