Once again, AIHA has partnered with Votenet, a nationally recognized company, to provide a safe, secure Web-based voting system during the March 2015 Board of Directors election cycle. Beginning in early March, AIHA members will use their e-mail address and membership identification number to access the voting system. Members who require a paper ballot must submit their request via e-mail no later than Friday, Feb. 20.

The paper ballot will be mailed by early March and must be returned postmarked no later than Friday, March 20, to be counted in the election. AIHA Accolades LaMont Byrd, CIH, was recently appointed to serve a three-year term as a labor representative on the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health (NACOSH). Byrd is the director of safety and health for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. NACOSH advises the secretaries of Labor and Health and Human Services on worker safety issues.
