General Information
Behavior Standards
AIHA Connect is a professional conference. AIHA reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the meeting without warning or refund, in response to any incident of unacceptable behavior, and AIHA reserves the right to prohibit attendance at any future meeting. Examples of unacceptable behavior include, but are not limited to:
• Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form
• Physical or verbal abuse of any attendee, speaker, volunteer, exhibitor, AIHA staff member, service provider, or other meeting guest
• Verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, national origin, inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces or in presentations, or threatening or stalking any attendee, speaker, volunteer, exhibitor, AIHA staff member, service provider, or other meeting guest
•Disruption of presentations at sessions, in the exhibit hall, or at other events organized by AIHA.
AIHA has zero-tolerance for any form of discrimination or harassment, including, but not limited to, sexual harassment by participants or staff at conferences. If you experience harassment or hear of incidents of unacceptable behavior, AIHA asks that you inform Larry Sloan, CEO, or Franky Spangler, Chief Operating Officer, or 703-849-8888 so we can take the appropriate action. Virtual participants agree additionally they will not record, copy, or take screen shots of Q&A or any chat room activities taking place in the Virtual AIHA Connect environment.
Children
Children and young adults 18 and under are not permitted at any AIHA Connect 2024 events (including courses, sessions, socials, or in the Expo).

Emergencies, First Aid, and Assistance
The safety and security of on-site attendees and staff is the priority of AIHA and the GCCC. If a medical emergency occurs in the GCCC, contact the Greater Columbus Convention Center Security at 614-827-2547. We respectfully request that you do not call 911 directly.

Saturday, May 18-Thursday, May 23 – A first aid station staffed daily by an EMT is located outside Exhibit Hall AB on the Lower Level across from registration.
