AIHA Candidates’ Forum
Each year,
The Synergist
asks candidates for the AIHA Board of Directors to participate in a candidates’ forum. This year’s candidates were asked to respond to the following question:
AIHA’s mission is “empowering those who apply scientific knowledge to protect all workers from occupational hazards,” and our vision is “a world where all workers are healthy and safe.” Of the five domains addressed in the 2019–2021 Strategic Plan (community, awareness, advancement and dissemination of knowledge, integrity of IH practice, and advocacy), which do you think is most critical in achieving our mission and vision? What ideas do you have for advancing that domain?

. AIHA members will be notified via email when the election opens in mid-February. The email will contain a link to the secure online voting site.  Paper ballots were mailed in early February to all members who requested them.
