Students: AIHF Scholarship Applications Are Due Jan. 19
The American Industrial Hygiene Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2018–2019 academic year. Students are evaluated on academic record, extracurricular activities, future goals as an industrial hygienist, and potential for leadership in the industrial hygiene profession. Several AIHF scholarships have specific criteria, and schools or students who meet those criteria will be given first consideration. Students who complete an application will be considered for all the scholarships for which they are eligible. The AIHF Scholarship Selection Committee will determine the scholarship awards during the selection process.
All application materials must be submitted via email by Jan. 19, 2018. For more information on AIHF scholarships and eligibility requirements, visit the AIHA website.
Donations to AIHF scholarship funds or memorial grants can be made online. Contributions are tax deductible as provided by law. Donating to AIHF will help ensure that deserving students preparing for careers in industrial hygiene will receive scholarships.
Since 1982, AIHF has distributed more than $1.8 million to more than 600 students studying industrial hygiene and related disciplines at 50-plus different schools and universities. These scholarships have enabled talented students to complete their education and have encouraged the most promising scholars to enter or remain in the industrial hygiene profession.
