NIOSH Webinar Discusses “Nonstandard Work Arrangements”
On June 28, NIOSH hosted a new webinar in its Total Worker Health webinar series, “A New Look at the Way We Work: Nonstandard Work Arrangements and Their Impacts on Worker Safety and Health.” Webinar participants received an overview of the terminology, theory, research data, obstacles, and potential solutions for addressing the challenges associated with nonstandard work arrangements. Three speakers presented on NIOSH’s perspective on nonstandard work arrangements, health impacts of nonstandard work arrangements on worker safety and health, and potential interventions and solutions under the agency’s Total Worker Health approach.
This and previous webinars in the series are available as archived recordings via NIOSH’s webinar page.
