NIOSH Webinar Discusses "Productive Aging" and Work
In September, NIOSH hosted a new webinar in its Total Worker Health webinar series, “Productive Aging and Work: Theory, Health Data, Practical Solutions.” Presenters from CPWR, also known as the Center for Construction Research and Training, and the University of Washington School of Public Health discussed the concept of productive aging, the design of aging-friendly workplaces, and actions organizations can take to meet the occupational health and safety needs of workers of all ages.
NIOSH defines Total Worker Health as "policies, programs, and practices that integrate protection from work-related safety and health hazards with promotion of injury and illness prevention efforts to advance worker well-being."
The free webinar series focuses on the latest research and case studies related to Total Worker Health. Archived recordings of previous webinars are available via NIOSH’s
